Claire Stanford is a writer living in Brooklyn. Originally from Berkeley, California, Claire has always been immersed in all things food, wine, and sustainability-related. One of her earliest memories is drinking champagne from her mother's glass when she was three years old; it -- and all bubbly alcoholic beverages -- has been in her bloodstream ever since. When she is not cooking or writing, Claire is usually long-distance trekking, doing crosswords, and/or drinking tea. Her favorite animal is the sea turtle.
